How to download Adobe Creative Cloud for Mac for FREE?
A few months ago I wrote the article about how to download Lightroom for Windows for free, and later I did the same with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Capture One, Final Cut Pro X, etc… So I thought I’d do the same article, but talking about the whole suite, the entire Adobe Creative Cloud.
The thing is that many of you have already asked me to explain how to download Creative Cloud on Mac for free (since not all of you use Windows, of course), so that’s what I’m going to do in this post.
What is Adobe Creative Cloud and what is it for?
The Creative Cloud is an Adobe program used to manage the entire Adobe creative suite. That is, it is used to download and update any Adobe creative program, from those for photo, video and audio editing, such as those for design or illustration, as well as those used for programming or web layout, etc…
From this app you can download ALL Adobe applications to which you are subscribed or even all those that are 100% FREE (which are quite a few), so it is a very interesting program to have installed on your computer.
IMPORTANT: in addition to the Creative Cloud application itself, we will often refer to the subscription pack that includes 20 or more applications (or more) for design, photography, video, etc., from Adobe.
Is there a free Adobe Creative Cloud?
Obviously the full Creative Cloud suite comes with a paid subscription, but downloading the Creative Cloud is totally free and there are many programs you can try thanks to this software. And yet, you have an option to download ALL the programs in the suite FREE for one week.
That is to say, with this downloaded software you will be able to do the following for free:
- Upgrade any program you have access to from the Adobe suite, either paid or free.
- You will be able to download trial versions of any Adobe program and use it without limits for a week.
- You will be able to download for free and unlimited all the programs of the Creative Cloud suite that are 100% free and free on the market (and there are quite a few).
I understand that it hurts your pocket when you have to pay monthly for creative software if you don’t do it professionally (or even if you do, it’s normal that you don’t like to pay every month). In fact, many professionals I know use pirated versions of the program (which I do not recommend at all). However, in addition to the fact that you will be able to try for free all the paid ones, you will be able to access to many free ones, so it is 100% recommended.
How does the free 7-day version from the Creative Cloud work?
You have different options:
- Download the full suite in its 7-day free version, which will give you access to ALL programs for free for one week.
- You can also download the Creative Cloud app for free and, from there, download any program you want to try individually in its free version.
From this software you will be able to download a lot of different paid programs for free. The period is one week free, and it works the way I am going to explain right now:
- You download the Creative Cloud and create an Adobe account to install it (or log in with the one you have already created, if you have one that you have previously created for other Adobe software).
- Open the application and take a look at the top menu (by default you will be in the applications section) and the side menu, where you will have all the apps filtered by category.
- Browse through the apps until you choose the one you want to download/update.
- In the lower section you will find different apps available depending on your subscription, those that you have to update and, in another section, all those that you can download for free to try.
- Once the 7 free days are over (in case you download a trial version), you will no longer have access to the program, but you will still have the option to pay for it or try other similar programs.
IMPORTANT: I highly recommend that you take a look at ALL the programs in the Adobe suite, because many times you have some free ones that do very similar functions to other paid ones.
Is there an unlimited free version of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite?
To have a free version for unlimited time of the entire Adobe suite, you have to download the hacked/cracked program, which is neither legal, nor do I recommend it, nor will I explain how to do it in this or anywhere else in my blog, but I know that many people do it, both amateurs and professionals in the audiovisual sector (which, as I said, I do not share at all), which is where I move.
This hack/crack works by preventing any of the Creative Cloud programs from communicating with Adobe and, therefore, will never know if you are using a trial version or paying for it. In other words, most users cut off communication between their computers and Adobe through the crack or patch.
The thing is, I’m not going to show you that here. However, I am going to explain you everything Adobe offers, including the very interesting official discounts it has. Moreover, I will help you solve all the doubts you may have about it.
Remember that if you are going to use it professionally, you must pay for the program from the official website. In this way you help to improve and support it. In any case I do not recommend downloading an illegal pirated version of the software.
Why not use the free pirated versions of Adobe Creative Cloud software?
Any program, whether from Adobe or any other company that develops computer programs, requires a considerably large economic investment to be developed, so by paying the license fee you help to keep this program under development and all possible bugs in it can be solved as soon as possible.
In addition, the fact of paying the license gives you access to all the updates of the program that are made after the purchase, allowing you to access to all the new tools and improvements of performance or usability that the program incorporates. This is really important.
The fact of paying for the license allows you to have access to technical support, to solve problems and possible doubts that may arise with the use of the program. Of course, it is something that I love and that I always end up using sooner or later for almost all the software licenses I have.
On the other hand, just as you want to be paid for your work as a creative (or whatever professional activity you develop), the work of the programmer who created the software also deserves to be paid.
Is Creative Cloud 100% compatible with Windows (PC) and Mac?
This is a very typical question for all those who want to download any program of the Adobe suite. Indeed, the Creative Cloud is available for Mac (macOS) and PC (Windows), so you will not have any problem using it.
Moreover, all of its software is available for both Mac and Windows, as is the Creative Cloud itself.
What is included in the free trial version of any Creative Cloud program?
In any Adobe program you will find exactly all the full functionality of the software in its free versions. That is, you will be able to use them in full to create any type of work, without any limitations.
It is normal for you to ask this question since other companies usually offer versions of their programs with quite limited functions for the free trial versions (although it is true that these are usually longer). However, this is not the case with Adobe, so you will be able to try any of their programs with all the features, tools, power and configurations available.
Are there mobile versions of all Adobe Creative Cloud programs?
This question is very common, since many of you start in the audiovisual or creative world in general without having a computer. That is, you do it using your cell phone directly (some of you simply prefer it because it is more convenient since you can always and anywhere have it at your disposal).
However, I have to say that not in all Adobe software there is a version for cell phones available. And even less in the Creative Cloud itself.
It doesn’t really make much sense either, since they are programs designed for professionals, so using them through a cell phone would mean that the work could not be done correctly.
How to download Creative Cloud for free for Mac?
To download the Adobe Creative Cloud app for your Mac, just follow the steps below:
- You go to the official Adobe website. This is the most common and what I recommend.
- Go to Adobe Home and click on the text «creativity and design» (in the main menu).
- There is an option that says «what is the Creative Cloud? «. Well, you click on this option.
- It will give you the option to download the full suite and try it for free for 7 days.
- Follow the steps for downloading.
IMPORTANT: although it can be very tempting to try the entire suite for 7 days, I recommend that you download the free programs individually, so that you can take better advantage of each of the 7-day free trials.
What to do when the Creative Cloud free trial week is over?
Obviously, when the seven-day free trial of all the programs in the Adobe suite is over, I recommend that you sign up for those that you have liked and consider essential for your professional work to test the program in greater depth and, if at the end of the period you have not liked it enough, cancel the subscription and you will no longer have access to it.
Since it is a monthly recurring payment that you can cancel whenever you want, you can try paying for a month and see if you like it. If you don’t like it as much as you expected, you stop paying and lose access to the program.
It is a way to extend the program trial, but instead of doing it for free, you do it by paying for that extra month. Think that with only one week to try it, you will not be able to decide if you really like it or not. However, I recommend you to make the most of every day of the month you pay, to decide with total certainty if you want to continue paying for it or unsubscribe the next month.
The price is really not too high (we see it in the next section), and more if we take into account that it will be your working tool as a creative or simply because you want to learn certain skills at a more professional level, so it is well worth paying for any of their programs.
What is the price of the full Creative Cloud?
The paid version of the Creative Cloud, which I advise you to pay once the free trial week is over (logically), costs about 60 euros per month approximately (the price changes over time, so take a look at the official Adobe website to make sure). If you look at it and compare it to the individual programs, it’s super good value (Premiere or After Effects alone are about 24/month).
I have to say that the price of the pack is a bit high, but of course, you have access to 20 or more paid programs that, if you paid for them individually, would cost a lot more than that subscription.
Are there any discounts for purchasing Adobe Creative Cloud?
First of all, the Creative Cloud is an offer in itself, as it includes ALL of Adobe’s creative software. However, there are still offers for it.
- Offers for companies. While it may seem like it might be higher priced, there are actually some exclusive features included that make the offer unique.
- Offers for students and teachers. This plan costs about 20€/month. Yes, this is a great offer (65% discount), so it is really worth it.
Download Creative Cloud for Mac free on torrent sites
IMPORTANT: I only recommend the use of torrent sites for those people who want to download an old version of the program because their operating system does not accept the latest version.
Well, here are some options for you to download this program for free through any torrent manager (of which we have already spoken).
- On the piratebay (or similar) page. Remember that these pages have mostly pirated software downloads (with crack installed), so it is your legal obligation to enter your Adobe credentials when you install it so that the company knows that you are using your paid account legally.
- Search Google for «Creative Cloud torrents» and select any of the available options and follow the instructions provided.
Other ways to download Creative Cloud for Mac
Of course there are other ways to do it, so I’m going to explain how to search for it.
- Search google for «Download Creative Cloud Mac» or similar searches to find results of websites that explain how to do it. Beware that many downloads are illegal. Avoid them or use your credentials to log in when installing the program.
- Search YouTube for «how to download Creative Cloud Mac» or similar searches to find video tutorials with download links in the video descriptions. Many of these videos teach you how to hack it illegally, which I strongly advise against.
Well, with this I think I can conclude. I hope it has helped you and that you already have this fantastic program installed and are practicing.
If you know any other way to do it or any good download page, leave a comment with the information to help the rest. If you have any other questions, you can leave them right here or send me an email and I will be happy to answer you.
